The plot follows a classic, heartwarming formula. We are introduced to (voiced by Rasmus Hardiker), a 13-year-old vampire who is, quite literally, celebrating his 313th birthday. He and his family are being relentlessly hunted by the fearsome vampire hunter Rookery (voiced by Jim Carter). Meanwhile, young Tony Thompson (voiced by Amy Saville), a mortal boy from San Diego who is fascinated by all things that go bump in the night, is on vacation in Germany with his parents.
