Madlib Discography Portable [ LEGIT » ]
This multi-volume instrumental series functions as a travelogue of Madlib’s musical influences.
What ties the entire Madlib discography together is not a single sound, but a signature approach: the "" ethos. He has a unique ability to find a two-bar loop that most producers would overlook and turn it into a song with immense feel . This, combined with his willingness to genre-hop from rap to jazz to psychedelic rock to Brazilian music all in one sitting, makes every release a unique adventure. Madlib Discography

Their 2001 debut, Angles Without Edges , proved that Madlib could construct a cohesive, deeply moving jazz fusion record entirely on his own. This project eventually expanded into the "Yesterdays Universe," spawning numerous jazz-centric spin-offs. Legendary Collaborations: Madvillain and Jaylib | | 2003 | Champion Sound | The
