Upon arrival, Lockhart finds a picturesque spa where wealthy guests undergo mysterious treatments involving specialized water
The movie follows Lockhart (Dane DeHaan), a young executive who travels to a Swiss sanitarium to retrieve his company's CEO, Dr. Peck (Jason Isaacs). Upon arrival, Lockhart discovers that the sanitarium is shrouded in mystery, and the patients seem to be under some sort of mind control. As Lockhart delves deeper into the institution's secrets, he uncovers a dark conspiracy that threatens to destroy him.
Lockhart soon discovers that the spa’s "cure" involves the local water, which is filled with a unique species of eel that grants the drinker a form of immortality. Dr. Volmer reveals himself to be the Baron, an immortal eugenicist who has been using the spa for centuries to harvest fluids from patients in a grotesque attempt to impregnate his daughter, Hannah, and create a "pure" heir. The climax is a chaotic, fiery confrontation where Hannah pushes her father into an eel-filled aquifer, finally ending his reign of terror before she and Lockhart escape.

A Cure for Wellness is a visually stunning, atmospheric descent into madness, best approached as a slow-burn nightmare. Thanks to an official Hindi audio track, the film is easily accessible for a wider audience.
