Released in 2012, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is the third installment in DreamWorks Animation's blockbuster franchise. The plot follows Alex the lion (voiced by Ben Stiller), Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer), Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and their lemur friends, King Julien and the Penguins, as they desperately try to return home to New York's Central Park Zoo.
