The film was made as a film but was simultaneously released as a Telugu dubbed version under the title Dandupalayam 4 . The film also had an interesting journey into the Tamil market. It was partially reshot in Tamil with a new cast including Sonia Agarwal and Vanitha Vijayakumar and was released in Tamil as Dandupalyam nearly five years later on June 7th, 2024 .
