Many files found online under the name Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact 2 are actually highly customized versions of the original game. These "Impact 2" mods often include updated character rosters from the Boruto era, new textures, revamped UI elements, and even new movesets that weren't available in the 2011 release.

Cards play an important role in the game—they can be used to enhance a character’s stats, provide special effects in battle, change movesets, and activate secret techniques and awakenings.
